The existing building is spread over nine levels, four below ground level and five above ground level. The owner’s priority is to optimize the various spaces within the program from a functional perspective.

• Residential Center for elderly people in dependent situations:

This center will be arranged in three modules: one on the first floor, another on the second floor, and the third will encompass the third and fourth floors. Each of these will include its required general services area. In addition, the ground and basement floors will be equipped with

common areas and services: kitchen, living room and dining room, administration area and medical area, as well as a rehabilitation room and occupational therapy room, shared with the day center.

• Day Center or Day Stay Units: 

This center is located in a single module on the ground floor, with the following areas: living room, dining room, shared bathrooms, and specialized care area, the latter shared with the residential center.
